                            Battle of the Fandoms is BACK!

                            Renewed for a seventh season, the Battle of the Fandoms is back with “The Battle of the Cartoons!”  For this first episode, six classic "Saturday Morning Cartoons" will battle to get into the Finals with the top two teams making it into the event in November. There are initially 25 spots for each team. If all the slots on a team are full, please select another team. 

                            We MAY, if there's sufficient interest, expand the number of available slots ONCE. Any team-size expansion will be announced in the Fan Domain ahead of time. Note: Once you are registered for a team, it's difficult (but not impossible) to change to a different team, so chose wisely. 
                               
                            Each of the six teams will be running for a different charity beneficiary!  The six teams are:

                            JustDeweyIt – Duck Tales
                            ItsOurFunction – School House Rock
                            CowaRUNga – Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles
                            Blue Travelers – Smurfs/Snorks
                            Runs-A-Lot – Care Bears
                            WeHaveThePower – She-Ra/He-Man/Masters of the Universe

                            Racer guidelines: We've got racers all over the globe! To keep everyone on the same page, we've come up with some handy tips.
                            • No step counting, please use intentional miles
                            • Only walking/running miles please!
                            • Please attribute your mileage to the appropriate day -- don’t combine mileage from multiple days
                            • Please do not backdate mileage
                            • Miles submitted after the race ends will not count toward race leaderboards
